Cycle through serene rice fields to shrines, waterfalls, and canyons
Cycling is a great way for visitors to experience the scenic views of the Hakusan area. The Tsurugi branch of Hakusan City Hall, a one-minute walk from Tsurugi Station, rents out bicycles and provides informational pamphlets on places of interest in Hakusan. Electric-assisted bicycles are available for an extra fee.
Several sightseeing spots are within 15–30 minutes by bicycle from the rental location. Highlights include Shirayama Hime-jinja Shrine, Shishiku Highland, and the waterfalls of Tedori Canyon. Tedori Canyon Road is wide, a well-paved bike path that weaves through the countryside.
