Fireworks displays over the hot springs of Katayamazu Onsen
Katayamazu Onsen, one of the hot-spring towns that make up Kaga Onsen, holds a fireworks festival of considerable length each summer. Starting in early August, fireworks are launched over Lake Shibayama each night for the whole month.
The fireworks can be enjoyed from within some outdoor hot-spring baths or from Yunomoto Park. Pleasure cruises on the lake allow passengers to view the fireworks from the water.
