Three great new sightseeing spots have recently opened in Ishikawa. The reconstruction of Kanazawa Castle's Nezumitamon Gate along the castle's western wall was finally completed in 2020 and can now be visited in Kanazawa Castle Park. The National Crafts Museum opened in October 2020 after moving from Tokyo to Kanazawa and is the only national museum in Japan specializing in crafts. Wakura Onsen Omatsuri Hall opened in Wakura Onsen on the Noto Peninsula and introduces the area's festivals with life-size exhibits.
